No, the donation does not increase the price or affect the product in any way. You receive the exact same insurance policies at the same rates as you would from any other agent. The charitable donation comes entirely from the agent’s commission and has no impact on your cost or the policy’s terms.

Donation amounts vary based on the agent’s commission, which is often a significant percentage of your policy’s annual premium. Since 40% of the agent’s commission is donated, the donation can range from around $100 to several thousand dollars, depending on the size of the policy.

The donations come entirely from the agent’s commission—a fee that insurance carriers already pay to agents for their services. Because the donation is a portion of this existing commission, it doesn’t add any extra cost to you.

Once your first premium is paid and the agent receives their commission, we’ll notify you within two weeks of the donation amount generated by your policy. The donation is held in escrow for approximately three months to ensure there are no chargebacks or cancellations. After that period:
90% of the donation is directed to your selected charity.
10% supports our operations at the Profit for Good Initiative.
You’ll receive updates throughout the process, including confirmation when the donation is made to your chosen cause.
