Commissions for a Cause started with a simple idea: ‘what if instead of a few rich business people getting richer, businesses operated to give away their profits and improve the world?’

Brad West, our founder, first launched the Profit for Good Initiative which empowers people to create real change by redirecting business profits to life-saving and world-improving charities—at no extra cost to consumers. He even presented a highly regarded TEDx talk on his notion.

But after some consideration, and eagerness to improve the world, he decided to start his own business, giving him the opportunity to show the business world that profit for good works.

Through programs like Commissions for a Cause, where a portion of each insurance agent’s commission goes directly to charities, we make it easy for everyday transactions to fuel impact. Driven by values of dignity, compassion, and equity, we work to expand access to essentials like education and healthcare, reduce suffering, and protect the environment.

As a lawyer, Brad combines his analytical skills and commitment to justice with his work at Profit for Good, transforming ordinary transactions into opportunities for meaningful change.
